Scope and Privacy
These terms govern your use of the Cleancy mobile app and the related backend services. Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these documents, do not use the app.
Accounts and Access
- You must provide accurate information when creating or updating an account.
- You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and device.
- You may sign in with email and password or, where available, with VK, Google, or Apple. Those providers also apply their own terms and policies.
- We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, impersonation, or repeated rule violations.
Environmental Reports and Cleanup Confirmations
- Submit only genuine pollution reports and genuine cleanup confirmations.
- Provide location, photos, comments, and other details honestly and as accurately as you can.
- If you choose images from your library, the app may use image metadata, including date and GPS data, to help prefill report details.
- You remain responsible for your own safety, route planning, and compliance with local law. Do not trespass or handle unsafe waste beyond what is lawful and reasonable.
User Content and Public Visibility
- You remain responsible for content that you upload, send, or publish through the service.
- You must only upload content that you have the right to share.
- Do not upload illegal material, harassment, spam, personal documents, or sensitive personal data unrelated to environmental reporting.
- Reports, cleanup confirmations, nicknames, avatars, comments, and related media may become visible to other users or administrators.
- Uploaded report images, cleanup images, and avatars are currently stored with public object URLs. Do not upload media that you are not prepared to make potentially accessible to others.
Chat and Community Rules
- The in-app chat is for legitimate service-related communication.
- Do not threaten, harass, spam, defraud, impersonate, or distribute unlawful content through chat.
- Messages sent to the admin or support chat may be reviewed by administrators and may generate service notifications by email or push.
- We may moderate, restrict, or remove chat content and may limit access to chat features when rules are violated.
Moderation, Verification, and Rewards
- Reports and cleanup confirmations may be moderated, verified, edited for operational reasons, hidden, declined, or removed.
- The app may award internal coins or similar recognition for community activity. These are internal product mechanics only, have no cash value, and may be adjusted, reversed, or removed for fraud, mistakes, moderation decisions, or technical corrections.
- Administrators may review content and take action to protect the community and the integrity of the service.
Permissions and Technical Dependencies
- The app may request access to location, camera, photo library, media-location metadata, and notifications to support current features.
- If you deny permissions, some features may be limited or unavailable.
- Some features depend on third-party infrastructure such as map providers, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Cloud Storage, and optional identity providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of those systems.
Account Deletion and Retained Records
- You may request or trigger deletion using the current account deletion flow.
- In the current backend implementation, deletion anonymizes the account, removes the avatar, clears push tokens, and marks the profile as deleted instead of immediately hard-deleting every related record.
- Existing reports, cleanup confirmations, chat history, and moderation-related records may remain associated with a deleted placeholder account so that community history, rankings, and moderation records remain consistent.
Disclaimers and Liability
- The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
- We do not guarantee that all user-submitted content is accurate, lawful, safe, or complete, even if it has passed moderation.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses, injuries, route issues, third-party outages, environmental conditions, or damages resulting from misuse of the service or reliance on user-submitted content.
- You use the app and participate in any cleanup activity at your own risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Continued use of the service after publication of an updated version means the new version applies from its published date.
